Outstanding Yard June 2016

It’s obvious when you drive by Johnny and Deenie Phillips home at 115 Woodhaven they have done the work, and we benefit from seeing the result. Nature Center Field Trip

Tyler’s Nature Center (located at 11942 FM 848
Tyler, TX 75707) & Larry LeBeau resident State Wildlife Biologist hosted KWB (Keep Whitehouse Beautiful) today with an informative & exhaustive tour of 85 acres of East Texas trees, plants, & flowers. Numerous trails, both natural & concrete paths wind through & across Quail Creek & wooded areas. Amazing East Texas Wild-scape foliage (seen on pics) as well! Then we were off to Republic Ice House on University Blvd. for lunch

KWB Announces Business Hot Spot for June 2016

KWB presented the Business Hot Spot for June 2016 to Jarrod Leisch, D.D.S. Receiving the award are Dr. Jarrod Leisch and staff members Jennifer, Mindy, Lori, Jan Jamie. Making the presentation for KWB are Hazel Bateman and Dorothy LaFlure. The KWB Business Hot Spot Program recognizes local businesses that make an extra effort to provide both a litter free and attractive appearance to the community. Look at the great landscaping at the entrance! Congratulations Jarrod Leisch, D.D.S.!

2016 Don’t Mess With Texas Trash Off – Photos

Over 35 miles of roadways in the Whitehouse area are cleaner now thanks to 270 participants of the annual “Don’t Mess With Texas Trash Off” and “Great American Clean Up”, organized by Keep Whitehouse Beautiful.

Beautification at Whitehouse Municipal Court – November 7, 2015

KWB Assists in Beautification of Higgins Elementary

IMG_1829On Saturday, August 22, 2015, KWB volunteers assisted the parents of Higgins Elementary in weeding, adding compost, plants and mulch to the front entrance flower bed.  A big thank you to Meagan Schneider for organizing this event and to Nix Landscape and Supply for their donation of mulch as well as to all of the parents and students for their hard work.
