Statewide Award received for AgriWorld 2016 exhibit!

KWB’s efforts at AgriWorld 2016 won second place against all fairs in our size bracket in Texas! This was for the Best Agricultural Education Program where we displayed our recycled tire teapot and teacup set. Congratulations Hazel!

Don’t Mess With Texas Trash Off this Saturday!!

Keep Whitehouse Beautiful invites you to be a part of the largest one day clean-up event across America, the annual:
“Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off”
Event times: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 8, 2017
Volunteers across America will be removing litter from our roadways and parks. Each year Whitehouse area churches, businesses, community leaders, neighborhoods, concerned citizens, scouts, and student groups, assist in the removal of thousands of pounds of litter and debris.
Meet us at the Whitehouse City Park on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.
All participants get breakfast in the morning and pizza after the pick-up.
A group photo of all the volunteers will be at 8:30 a.m., and all teams on the road by 9:00 a.m.
First 300 volunteers will receive a Trash-Off t-shirt!

KWB announces April 2017 Business Hot Spot winner!

The April 2017 Business Hot Spot was awarded to Southside Bank located at 910 Hwy 110 N in Whitehouse, TX. Pictured is Amanda Stanley, Isamar Escareno and Cindy Miller, Branch Manager. Making the award for KWB are Daryl Lynch and Hazel Bateman. The KWB Business Hot Spot Program recognizes local businesses that make an extra effort to provide both a litter free and attractive appearance to the community.

KWB completes road surveys of 40 miles of Whitehouse area roads. This sight along Lilly road is sadly all to common. Come join us in the 2017 Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off!

We had some truly amazing nominations this year and are proud of all our communities are doing to keep Texas beautiful.

The nearest local winner this year was Longview, so let’s give them a big congratulations!
